This page provides download links for past and current LuaVIEW releases, patches, and the data logger add-on. When upgrading from a prior release, review the change log to see what is new. Note that though LuaVIEW is free of charge for non-commercial use and evaluation purposes, and the download is unrestricted, you are obliged to aquire a license when you use LuaVIEW in a commercial way. This includes any use that is connected to commercial activity such as for instance in-house use in production testing for products that you do intend to sell in some way.
LuaVIEW1.2.2_full_LV85.zip (13.4 MB). This is the full LuaVIEW 1.2.2 release that includes the client-server framework and SCADA/datalogging add-on. The VIs were patched for and recompiled with LabVIEW version 8.5 (users of earlier LabVIEW versions should download the other 1.2.2 release listed below). In addition, some additional unit tests for the data logger and project files for building client and server executables are included.

LV85fix.zip (63 kB). Fix for LabVIEW 8.5 VI reference casting problem. Enhance the LuaVIEW 1.2.1 distribution with this small patch to make it work for LabVIEW 8.5 or higher. By Rolf Kalbermatter.
Windows_DLL1.2.1.zip (95 kB). A version of the LuavIEW CIN that uses Lua in DLL form. This should allow lua code to dynamically link to external C libraries. By Rolf Kalbermatter.
LuaVIEW1.2.1.zip (9.01 MB). Fixes problems with LabVIEW 8.0 and the LabVIEW evaluation mode. Users of LabVIEW 7.x can skip this release.
LuaVIEW1.2.0.zip (8.95 MB). Minor tweaks. Added an example application framework.
LuaVIEW1.1.0.zip (7.20 MB). This is the first release to support Mac OS X. Tested under Panther.
LuaVIEW1.0.1.zip (6.58 MB). Fix for LabVIEW 7.1 application exit problem. LabVIEW 7.0 users can skip this release.
LuaVIEW1.0.0.zip (6.58 MB). The core functionality is complete and well-tested. Going forward, the focus will be on incremental extension of the peripheral functionality.
datalog_050822.zip (6.34 MB). A LuaVIEW-based data-logging/SCADA system. Highly customisable and scalable. See its manual for details.
